  • New US Warship - USS Gerald Ford

Christening the Ford: inside the most advanced, most expensive warship ever built | The Verge

This graph is sad though. Total nasa budget since 1958 VS 1 year military budget.

    Defense budget is sickening!

And using that as a reference, here is a different jaw dropping perspective.

With our current debt, if interest rates go to 7% as proposed, the increased treasury interest the govt has to pay would be larger than entire defense budget.

telling ya, banking elite like rothchilds and rockerfellas control the fed, through creation of debt situations, war is money=more debt.
The absolute worst thing for america to be doing right now is going to war and incurring more debt, they will soon be in a situation where they cannot afford to service the intetest on the debt they have borrowed with the tax revenue, then what? Borrow more? Their credit rating will fall and thus the rate of finance must increase to reflect the percieved increased risk... and so on = critical situation of free fall race to the bottom

Thr maths is simple but the news refuses to deal with it as do the politicians, and why you ask?
Ask yourselves the question of who stands to gain? Who do they owe the money to?

Its a simply ludicrous pattern that anyone can forecast will end in economic freefall, and if you simply print more money you devalue thr currency and create runnaway inflation, simple economics, totally avoidable, so why aren't they?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the space program, but of course the military budget/spending is going to be more - the military is a here and now entity that we use on a daily basis. Sort of apples and oranges isn't it?

Of course. However the sheer amount of spending is ludicrous.

You speak of it as if its unavoidable neccessity, doesn't America/you as voters have a choice what wars you enter? If it wasn't for Russias intervention you would probably be on the ground in Syria already.
