I don't know how into science your boys are, but do you have any experience with any good science (for kids) magazines? I don't really see a whole lot offered, but there is one called Odyssey that looks decent. I was hoping you've read an issue or two.

I think he'll do the reading if it's like a magazine, or even those silly Ripley's type books. i bought him one of those with the "gross" facts and stuff like that. Maybe some of the kitchen science experiment type kits would be cool, too.

Haha B... yes, genetically disadvantaged but still kicking ass!
FB, I've been lookng around and I think the following look pretty good:
1. Muse
2. Odyssey
3. Discover Kids
4. Superscience (from Scholastic)
5. Ranger Rick (more wildlife/biology oriented).
You can also get Scientific American, but it may be a bit advanced or at least drier than kids can handle. I am pretty sure you can get most of these at the public library, so borrow a few issues and see which one looks good! I'm going to get some myself, now that I look at some of these. They look pretty interesting!

Thanks, Scrum. I was considering Muse as well. They are the same price, but Muse has a lot more reviews on Amazon. Maybe I'll give that one a try. I swore there was a Popular Science for kids, but I guess I imagined that because there isn't.
I'll think they'll be interesting to read together. I'm sure it's choke full of stuff I didn't know either. :P
