Are you talking about the material draping on the sides? Only way to fix that is custom tailoring. Wide back and big shoulders probably don't leave Mr. I with many options.

yea, it was the shoulder to waist ratio of the shirt. looked like a pillow case. no differential.

Buy shirts that fit you at the collar. They will fit you like a tent off the rack. Take it to a tailor and have him take in the sides and slim and taper the sleeves. Costs me about $15 per shirt here.
