That's the one advantage of smalltown living; not many cops in my area are going to give me a ticket. Either I know the cop from the gym, or if I don't...one of my cop buddies will talk to him and get him to toss the ticket rather than process it. I'm only at risk for one when I travel...never had a 'local' ticket in my life.

I think that is often the case. I had a female officer that wanted to take me to jail practically for a big speeding ticket I got visiting someone in Georgia :eek:
