  • Great White Shark "Katherine" in town

One of the Great White sharks they are tracking has been spending the last few weeks around my beaches. They started tracking her in August -in Massachusetts.

I think it's cool they can do things like that, but I am a little more hesitant to dive off the boat when I'm 50 miles offshore! :panic:

We fish offshore sometimes 100 miles out. After we hooked about an 8ft shark in the Keys, it made me think twice about being hurt and nobody being there to help me. I'd certainly bleed to death before anyone could get help!

That's crazy, 8 feet! I wouldnt mind trying saltwater fishing sometime. I'm not an avid fisherman, only go a couple times a year to freshwater lakes...dealing with a 20lb northern pike is hard enough, IDK how you guys handle a damn shark.lol

                  .

You don't, lol. Unfortunately once we realized what it was (after reeling that sucker up for an hour), all we could do is cut the line and lose everything. I know I mentioned before, sharks are a huge nuisance. The small reef sharks are everywhere and they eat all our bait and everything else. But catching the good stuff is fun, so we deal :P
