If you are a true lover of dogs and can appreciate large working class mastiffs, you must take some time and dig into this Italian breeders site. They have gone to great lengths to breed a superior Molloser and have done quite well, imo. Cross breeding cane corso, presa canario, boerbels, and other large Molloser mastiffs to breed out health defects common to large breed working class dogs and create and awesome specimen.

    good looking dogs.

thing about big dogs sadly is that no matter how far you go to find great breeding practices, strong blood lines, etc.. they will ALWAYS have some sort of hip, knee, or leg issue. Happens every time. This is partly why my days of the huge breeds are behind me for now at least. The 40-70lb all muscle sized breeds are what I'm into now.

      I would agree.

However this breeder "claims" he has not had one dog that has had any known health issues. Which is actually a point of controversy because they remove the emotional side of breeding and approach it scientifically and remove any bitches or studs that could possibly have a health issue to pass on.

They all the say the same bro. "Known" health issue is one of those head in the sand type deals where they don't have to acknowledge it. Breeders can be very shady no matter how "premium" they are. Do you honestly believe they would ever put "known health issues found in our dogs" on their site?... lololol.

Trust me, we have scoured the fucken world to get our dogs. I grew up with big dogs as a kid and an adult. Big dogs are not meant to be that. They are a distorted wolf. Nature cannot be fooled. If it sounds like I am knocking big dogs trust me I'm not. I love big dogs more than anything. The personality and smarts of big dogs is just amazing.

I don't disagree with you skepticism but I do think it is possible when you are not trying to create a "perfect" dog based on looks like the typical pet dog is bred for. Yes they are bred for function but appearance is always a huge factor as well. This is where a lot of the big dog issues arise. Sure they are a cross bred wolf and a wolf is a big canine reaching upwards of 150 lbs. So to say dogs are not meant to be big makes no sense.

They are not meant to be big in the sense that we have created them makes perfect sense. I disagree with you 1000%. The structure is no longer the same as the wolf. Weight is not created equal.

How many dogs do you have? Did you grow up with dogs? What kinds?

I have 1 dog currently. My boxer. Grew up with dogs of all sorts; mutts, pure bred bloodhound, blue tick, beagle, doberman, and chocolate and yellow lab.

No it's your indirect way of coming off as the "superior dog owner".

Corso bulls have to be about the toughest dog there is. That being said a mountain lion would tear it to pieces in seconds to give perspective

Jokes aside, what is a corso bull?

Cane corso is a mastiff, a type of mollosser. Not a bully breed.
