    Saw on the news that Houston is gettting pounded with winds and floods. Hope keiser is ok.

            yeah...it was bad. i was driving through water on main streets and highways that was 2.5 - 3 feet deep. my wife was freakin out, but i was having a blast! there were stalled cars everywhere...i just drove around them. i did get nervous at one point though because the water washed up over my hood...i thought for sure that my truck was going to stall. :D

                Oh christ!!! The major causeway over Lake Pontchartrain to New Orleans is closed!! 3 water spouts were spotted with winds over 40 MPH is areas around the city and where I live on the North Shore....they said we were going to get the worst of it here in St. Tammany Parish!! OMG....:eek:

                  Water was bad by my parents house and my work. They let everyone leave work early so I made my way to my parents to help them get ready for a third flood in their house if the water got much higher. Luckily out by my place the water was low and the only signs it had even rained was the wet road.

                  On the other hand my 3rd floor apartment flooded Sunday night thanks to my washing machine.

                            Just stopped by a friends auto shop and saw them fixing 2 cars that were in one of the tornado's. Looked like someone shot up all the windows with a shotgun. The ones that were still in place had multiple holes through them, along with having ruined interiors. I've had a flooded car before, but these cars have to be much worse and are just a total waste now.
