Amazon Is Raising The Price Of Its Prime Subscription Service To $99

Still worth it. There must be a distribution center really close to me because any time I order something with prime it's at my door the very next day 90% of the time. In other words prime 2 day shipping is really express overnight for me. That combined with the instant video service makes it very worth it to me. Amazon instant video has different documentaries that netflix doesn't have.

Just got the email today. It is worth it although most of their products that qualify for free 2 day shipping you would get in 2 days without a prime membership. Still worth it especially at Christmas time when I'm ordering all my gits a couple days before the 25th.

I order so much shit off of there the membership pays for itself with the free shipping in a couple months. I still get the "amazon student" rate tho, so mine's only going up to $49 :grin:

I basically stopped going to local stores after getting Amazon Prime. $99 is easily worth it, just in saved gas driving around all over town looking for stuff.
