Great idea. I think they should go a step further and band what they are allowed to bring to school. Kids need to be taught. You wouldn't give your 9 year old a pack of cigerettes so don't give them fried chicken everyday. It's just as unhealthy.

What's the difference? You don't have to be a parent to know what good nutrition is. I'm not a parent but it still disgusts me when I see what some parents let their kids eat. I was never allowed to drink soda or eat sweets etc when I was a kid and if I had of complained I would have received a hiding. Hell I wasn't even allowed to drink regular milk.
