  • F*ucked up my Shoulder

    Had a really good delt workout yesterday. Shrugs, Machine presses, Upright rows, Side dumbell laterals and some rear delt work.

    This morning my left shoulder is in agony, Stabbing pain when I move it and I can't even let my arm hang down naturally, I have it curled up to my chest.

    This ever happen to you ? I really want to avoid the Doc if all he is gonna tell me is rest it or Ice it or something like that.


    Plus Puddles is comming come soon and I know she is gonna want the old "in and out" and I can't be like this. :)

    pain pills til after mrs p gets what she wants. then we can worry about your sore shoulder. ;)

        Hun...go to our friend and get a quick x-ray...if you put something out of place they can put it back quickly, but the longer you wait the worse it'll be. Did you take an anti-inflamatory? If I was there I'd kiss it and make you feel better. ;) Don't worry about tonight...I'll be on top or I'll wait if you're not up to it. :kiss:

          i fucked up mine to not to long ago. I think I did too much on Incline Bench, the pain last a weekor 2. Every time I would do chest and shouders I couldnt, I had togo very light.

            I don't think an x-ray is going to be of much use. Unless the shoulder dislocated or seperated, an x-ray won't show anything. The damage is almost definately to soft-tissues in and around the shoulder joint (muscle, tendon, ligament). Go with rest and ice today, and call the doc only if it worsens. I'd stay away from anti-inflammatiories, as they slow the healing process.
