Went to Bonds....(I thought he should get it to) but I know there are alot of people out there that disagree...any opinions?

Hard to disagree with Bonds getting it. I think Pujols had a better year statistically, but no way voters were gonna shy away from bonds.

Bonds deserved it....no question. What he was able to do while barely seeing any pitches was incredible.

The SF Giants were like the Tigers without him....Bonds all the way.

I wish the Giants would throw open the vault doors and go after a top-rate hitter like Guerrero or Sheffield to hit in front of or behind Barry.

if Barry saw as many pitches as the average hitter in the majors, that HR record of 73 would be smashed I bet.

              I agree, Gong.

I'm hoping that since the testing is coming in, MLB goes back to using the juiced ball. It would allow the HR totals to stay the same, even though some players are gonna be a bit smaller and a bit weaker, so MLB would be able to put some positive PR out there. It'd allow them to say "See, we don't have a steroid problem...the numbers haven't changed". I see Bonds benefitting from the juiced ball more than anyone else, as some of those long fly-outs in Pac Bell would become homers.
