I've been to the Kohima War Cemetery, bro. I was 10 years old then. Kohima is way the hell out in the boondocks in the NE corner of India. It took us 3 trains changes to get there. My grandfather was the Indian equivalent of Attorney General of the state of Nagaland at that time, so we went to visit him during my summer holidays.

The cemetery is an amazing place. I would guess it is as much hallowed ground as the Normandy cemetery is. The tennis court is still there.

      The Kohima Epitaph:

"When you go home, tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow, we gave our today"
