If I have a stand alone tv, what dongles, apple tv, or any other fitting can I get to hook up multi channel options?

I have cable fitments to two othef tvs in the house but don't want to pay for another

Lately most of that crap comes with HDMI outputs only so if your tv doesn't have HDMI input you are pretty much SOL.
