Uber makes getting a taxi easy as shit. Not sure why thats "say goodbye to taxi's". That's the real power of uber.

i get it, they offer that option. but in the big cities the real power of uber is to be able to book a cab while your signing your check after dinner and as soon as you walk out of the restaurant there is a cab waiting for you. Or if your running late you simply book an uber taxi 5 minutes before you walk out of your house and they will be waiting for you rather than have to catch a cab that may or may not be there.

also, payment is all taken care of through uber. so no more have to swipe a card or give the cabby cash while your in a rush. you simply get in cab, confirm your name to him or her, step out of cab at destination and thats it. uber streamlines the cab process and takes the little annoyances away.
