Andromeda Galaxy (M31) with satellite galaxy (M32)...

Andromeda galaxy is our nearest spiral galaxy neighbor, 2.5 million light years from the Milky Way. All the stars in the foreground are in our Milky Way galaxy.

Not a great shot, a bit out of focus unfortunately. I need more practice with the faint objects.

Here's another Milky Way shot, around Cygnus I think.

Taken with the 6D and the Rokinon 14/2.8.. single 87 second shot on an iOPTRON Skytracker. I like how this one came out.

Thanks guys! In the last shot, you can see a satellite streak too. The number of satellites you can see is amazing. We've got quite a few rust buckets floating around out there! :)

These are awesome man. Speaking of the last one, just a little to the right and down from the center there is a perfect diagonal line crossing through. Is that in the damn sky?

---unless that's one of the streaks you're referring to

Yeah, the streak is the satellite. Because this is a long shutter shot, the satellite shows up as a streak.
