Well today is a proud day

Me and my lady have been asked to be god parents to our cousins two boys on Sunday next!

We're god parents to my best freinds youngest already which is very cool, this ones s little different in some way because its family asking.

We don't take the honour lightly as it could if course mean that god forbit, we would take care of them.

My wife is blubbing away with happiness and ofcourse, becausd we don't have kids of our own its a real treadure.

So I'm gonna hit the treadmill fof the second time today to try and trim my fat chops somewhat for the photos lol

You both seem to want kids pretty bad, why don't you consider adopting?

Same question with dogs. You seem to like dogs, posted pics with dogs etc.. but you dont have one?

Its a fair question but not easy to answer, I'll try;

Doctors say there's now no reason we can't conceive naturally, we are now doing the timing thing when her lh levels peak

Adoption is a long process and also is ultimately someone elses kid, sounds cold but if I was to adopt my ideal would be that the parents died in an accident and wouldn't come looking after I'd spent 20 years raising their kid.

We may come around to it in a year though.

I love dogs but ultimately don't have the heart to get one and ultimately leave it at home more than foyr hours a day, we both work full time.

But for now, being god father to three kids goes some way to alleviating feelings :)
