One Hundred Years of Memory | First World War Centenary

God bless those awsome men that genuinely fought to stop Germanys aggression and stepped up to stop Belgium being over run.

    A very awsome British performance

Was a horrible war and a well fought one but the allies all but guaranteed WW2 with the conditions they imposed on Germany at the end of WW1... The conditions in Germany and the desperation people were in at the time made it possible for someone like Hitler to rise. They were willing to follow extremism because they were in an extremely bleak situation themselves.

To add... The Japanese who were an allie in WW1 were under appreciated and treated like children at the end of WW1 thus playing a part in them becoming an Axis Power in WW2.

Also, it must be said.. A British soldier had hitler in his gun sights during WW1, he simply chose to let hitler go..

        Wow, awsome facts, love it.

Yep, poverty and lack of hope sure give rise to extreemism
