Practicing for the Chicago air show this weekend. It's fucking intense. They shake the whole building. Very very loud.

Hard to get a pic because they are so fast but I got a few.

Some days I don't love the city...

Fighter jets ripping around, construction from a new resteraunt being built across the street, and fucking sirens and horns. Today is especially loud. Not very peaceful.

I have never seen a Raptor But Ive got to watch Plenty of F18s(as well as others) at work...if ya get my drift. They werent just doing flybys and pretty tricks:thumb::grin:

I saw them in 2007 in Beaufort, SC. Actually stood security for the show and crash. They're incredible but it was sad.

I saw the real difference between a real camera like beast and scrum got and a phone camera this weekend. Jets are really hard to get a clear picture with a phone camera. The sky is bright and they are moving to fast, the focus just wouldn't lock onto these fucken things. Every single one of my pics is shit. bah.

Yeah, fast moving objects are going to be hard to photograph, even on an SLR. Pretty hard to do on a phone camera. Beast's camera is one of the best for that - its autofocus and tracking system is extremely good.
