Better Oats

Since Bouncer has been extolling the virtues of this brand, I picked up 4 boxes... Strawberries and Cream, Blueberry Muffin, Cinnamon Plum, and Maple and Brown Sugar. Pretty inexpensive - only cost $2.20 for each box with 10 packs in them. Hope they are good!

Those of you who have tried this - what's your favorite flavor?

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure you tried the blueberry when I first started talking about it and said it was to sweet.

I think that may have been me. I still get them but mix a little plain oats in with them. I order mine off different websites because Target doesn't carry them anymore in my area.

Hey B, you are right, I did try them a while back. They are on the sweet side but they were ok.

Chadd, I got them at a local store called Winco. It's the el cheapo grocery store around here, whre you bag your own groceries, etc., and the clientele can be marginal to scary lol..... I just went to the Better Oats website and they had the list of all stores locally that carry them. I generally buy boxed food, toiletries, paper towels, detergent, etc. at Winco because they can't screw it up and have the lowest prices. Perishable food items, I get from Fred Meyer usually, which is the West Coast version of Korger foods.

blueberry muffin! i usually do steel cut oats in my rice mnaker though. get more bang for your buck.

chadd you right, target dont carry them anymore. costco has them randomly but for the most part you gotta go to the regular gorcery store to get them. Mariannos has them, not sure if you have mariannos in your area.

I stock up whenever costco carries them. I have 5 40 packet boxes. :D

The oatfit ones are lower cals but still the same amount of fiber with added flax. I toss in a handfull of crasiens with them to make up the low calories difference.

Target in Florida has them. Been eating that brand oats for awhile now. Cinnamon roll is the best.

Check next time bro. They were in target here up until about 2-3 weeks ago. Now none.
