              I actually wouldn't recommend a plasma anymore now that I think about it.

              Considering the falling prices of the newest tech and the fact that plasma is heavy, power hungry, and a dead technology at this point.. There main benefit over other tech was always black levels. The newest tech is actually far surpassing plasma in terms of black levels.

                    Vizio has completely restructured the 4K market with this line of TV's from everything I have read. I would expect competitive lines from other manufacturers and a price drop comprable. If there was a benefit to buying plasma before, I think is sorely diminished as of now.
