Watched a pbs frontline special on the ebola outbreak. I was most shocked at what exactly is going on to cause the spread.

Because of fear, religion, and lack of understanding, the sick people are staying in their village and praying instead of seeking help. They see some of their village friends go away for help and never return and conclude that going for help means you never come back. It's so bad now that the villagers run away from the World Health Organization officials when they try to help them.

Very sad. A mother of 4 got ebola from her father who died and she was caring for. She came close to death but her immune system was able to beat the disease. Just as she was recovering her husband contracted the disease and was not able to recover.

In simple terms, the disease is spreading so fast due to human ignorance and fear.

Yes its a sad situation hopefully it will somehow get controlled before it spreads further.

I'm more worried about these Muslim lunatics right now. Another beheading yesterday. They are everywhere over here. One was caught the other day planning to behead a random member of public in Sydney's CBd. All those motherfuckers should catch Ebola.

I'm no gun advocate but redback I think you have to acknowledge a point when one is made. If you found yourself in that horrible situation I think you would prefer to have a gun..

It just makes people feel safer with a gun. If they want to get you they will get you they don't care if you have a gun.There was a Muslim who attacked two police officers here two days ago with the intention of beheading them. He stabbed both and nearly killed one. Both cops had guns and one eventually shot the guy dead. The other cop is lucky to be alive. Not much you can do if a guy sneaks up behind you with a knife.

No and trust me I think more like you when it comes to gun laws.

BUT I can also acknowledge a point when its a good one. In a time of crises like someone trying to cut your fucken head off.... A gun would be a nice thing to have.
