I can't ever see justification for paying a monthly fee when there are so many solid free options out there. I have Slacker, Milk, Pandora, Tunein, and iHeartRadio all installed and bounce around between all of them. A 15 second ad every 5 or 6 songs isn't that bad and skipping potential is unlimited with all the channels they all have. To each his own though.

I only use the spotify radio at the gym. I can find an entire album and put it in my list and/or download it to my phone so that it doesn't use data. It is much more than a radio service.

I've got more data than I can possibly use and keep around 16gb of personal music on my device for out of the house situations. Not saying it is a bad deal by any means, just saying in my scenario it isn't justified.
