Did anyone watch this new show on the Travel channel? It's like the old show Three Sheets, where the host goes somewhere different each week and tries that countries alcoholic beverages. It comes on on Mondays.

The first episode is Turkey! Beast, have you had Raki? :)

He wasn't at all loud on the first episode. And didn't get drunk like the other used to do, lol.

It's whatever that country drinks. Like I can't even tell you what it was on the Turkey episode haha. Plus they talk about food and different parts of the country, etc.

Yup I've had Rakı before. It's made from anison, tastes like liquorish but not sweet. I actually don't like it at all. :D

There was another thing they talked a lot about to. There was a guy walking around the town selling it - like out of a pitcher. I think it was Bova or something like that? Have you had that?

That crap in the pitcher is basically root beer without the carbonation. And I don't like that either. Lol.

Watched this last night for the first time. The host is very likable and comes across genuine. He was in Belize tasting all kinds of local stuff. He does a good job at fitting in with the locals in a respectful way.

Unlike someone like Andrew Zimmern who comes across like a blithering fat mess. I do like Andrew but christ I hate when he goes to a country and proves true every stereotype that people have about americans. You just know they are all saying to themselves.. "look at this fat burger eating american jackass". lol.
