Help me decide on what car to buy

I havent bought a car in a very long time. But this year my mrs has declared no more bikes we need a family car.

I want to buy a Pontiac GTO over here they are about $40k.

But I like the idea of a brand new car so anyone have any suggestions?

No VW's though! Had terrible experiences with them
