Shit, chuck, that's beach weather. I'm actually waiting for the temp to rise UP to zero to take the dog out this morning. :D

You don't appreciate it like me though. The magic of nice weather is something lost on you.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostHigh of 72 today. Beautiful!
You better believe that when spring comes and that first blue sky day in the 70's hits my face I will appreciate it far more then you could ever understand!
When you've been in hell, heaven is even more beautiful.

I can say with assurance I have an appreciation for more things in life than you do, lol. The magic of weather is not "lost" at all, it's the reason I choose to live here, dork!

You're just wrong when it comes to weather. There is no way you can appreciate great weather as much as me when you experience it everyday.
Would the magic of Christmas morning for a child be the same if he or she experienced it everyday?
You love great weather, I get it, who doesn't.. But it's the norm for you. Thus it's something you expect.

btw fb, im not arguing in the sense of trying to justify shitty weather.
just making a basic point about getting used to something vs a new experience.
seeing the good side of a bad experience I guess.
florida winter temps are far better then chicago, im not saying anything to the contrary.

I gotta agree. The homeless guy would appreciate a steak a lot more than the wealthy guy that has it weekly.Originally posted by Bouncer View PostYou're just wrong when it comes to weather. There is no way you can appreciate great weather as much as me when you experience it everyday.

Used to, yes, I totally agree. If I wake up tomorrow and it's -2, I'm going to freak the F out.
I will say that I would like to wake up to A day of snow, though. I'd definitely appreciate it. :)
