Yea and the south with BBQ. That's what makes it even more strange for certain states. I know Chicago pretty well and Pakistani food certainly isn't popular like a cheese steak would be in PA or Jersey.

Unless there is some region of Illinois in the suburbs that has a large pakistani population I have no clue where they got this from.

I think the disproportionate is also that people don't yelp about their everyday food unless it's a bad experience.

Surprised chilli isn't on Ohio's list. Cincinnati style chilli extends up to Columbus and is eaten weekly by a lot of families.

            Chilli is a soup/stew.

I wouldn't consider it a soup but that's just me, especially Cincinnati style. If you haven't had it, it is spaghetti noodles with a really thick chilli on top covered in a mound of shredded cheese. Not a soup by any means. http://www.skylinechili.com/images/ways.jpg

Don't know where they got those numbers but for every one those Thai or flipino restaurants there are dozens of Mexican restaurants around here. Hell I don't even know where is a Filipino restaurant is around here. Lol.
