Wonder if they will be selling the used ones to the public. I feel like they would be cool little beater vehicles.

I would love to see a mailtruck racing class, kinda like sprint cars. It would be cool to see these guys with a wing on, drafting around the track! :D

I'm sure Mr. I foretold this happening and we didn't listen to him at the time.

Budget trouble but looking to spend millions on new vehicles. Makes sense....

The argument could be made that these vehicles are costly to maintain and repair. Newer more fuel efficient vehicles could save money in the long term. I think we'd have to have all the facts to understand the decision.

Not sure why it should cost 25K to 35K.

Yea agree with that scrum. Seems a but steep.

Want to point out something else to turbo. Gotta remember these trucks were designed 30 years ago, well before the internet and amazon world. They were designed to carry envelopes. A new vehicle designed for the modern world of mail isn't entirely a bad thing.

Also, in big cities they don't use these vehicles at all. Chicago trucks are about 3 times the size of these little ones.

That's kind of funny. A couple weeks ago I was behind a mail truck thinking that those things are getting old as fuck, wondering if they would be replacing them soon.
