    2 x sonos play 3 downstairs

One sonos connect amp and a B&W ceiling 664SR speaker for bathroom.

Toying whether to get another sonos play 3 for main bedroom

Couldn't find my old thread on this but if anyone else has sonos please tell me your thoughts

Sonos is a great product. Does exactly what it is designed for and very easily configured.

It's no B&W though. Shame you couldn't afford bowers at least for the mains in the living room.

I mean real wired b&w's. Not the cheap wireless piss.

Well I can afford alot to be honest but it's a case if cost Vs use.

I could go for additional B&W ceiling speakers in bedroom. I don't want the ceiling speakers down stairs because I have coordinated led inset lights all around the open plan kitchen diner lounge ceiling and don't want more circles

I listened to the sonos in the shop and was pretty impressed.

I will have ceiling speaker in bathroom; get up music for mornings and whale music for relaxing baths

Then couple sonos for downstairs music

I thought he meant 2 sonos bridges. They work seamlessly, but I wouldn't buy their speakers. Too many better alternatives.

Who gives a shit about bathroom speakers.

As far as main listening / home theater mains... These are ideal if money ain't a thing..

Did you go with them for the wireless functionality or the streaming? Is a physical speaker wire to speaker locations an issue?

Rule of thumb is for the highs and the mid range speakers don't mean shit. Get the cheapest ones with the decent sound but don't cheap out on the sub.
I know all of you brand name fan boys are going to disagree but trust me this info comes from the God of sound himself.

                      Beast lol.

That guy may know his shit but what you just said is just.... Christ. I have no doubt in my mind that you completely misunderstood his advice.

You have it completely backwards. Reproducing mid and high ranges is far more complex and costly.

I think you may have misunderstood what he was trying to convey. High and midrange is the most difficult to achieve tonal balance and recreate the sound produced. Hence the reason for high end speakers that achieve this.

Lol at you two simpletons. I knew this noise was gonna come from you two. Like I initially said, you speaker name brand fanboys go head and spend money on a imaginary better sound. Lmao.

Nothing to do with brand names bro. It's sound.

                            J. Gordon Holt, Stereophile magazine founder and the father of observational audio equipment evaluation, once wrote, "If the midrange isn't right, nothing else matters."

                            But what would he know...

Just like you he obviously didn't know much. Lol.

Don't give shit what frequency speaker claim to produce your ear won't be able to differentiate it.

Let me just say I don't care what you have for mid to high end speakers, your booming subwoofer is going to drown every single detail you think you are going to hear when you shell out all that cash so save your money and go buy some cheap speakers and enjoy music.
