My comments here have nothing to do with me liking or disliking Bouncer or anyone else. I don't know Bouncer other than his persona here, much like anyone else here. While I consider all of you friends, given that I have known you for 10+ years in many cases, I don't know anyone personally.

I always calls 'em like I sees 'em. If I am wrong about the jealousy part, that's fine, my bad. Maybe jealousy is a strong word because it implies wishing ill on someone because of what they have been able to achieve. Envy is a better word - I am not above saying that I am envious of Bouncer's physique - I am just being completely candid here, which I always am.

I wish I could achieve that kind of physique, but I am not willing to put in the effort. As simple as that. So my comment to Bouncer was just an honest reflection about how I felt. I would say the same thing to anyone else who has achieved an ideal that I would aspire to.

On more than one occasion, you have implied that I kiss up to Bouncer or agree with everything he says. If you go back and look at my comments, you will see that I may agree with Bouncer on topics like science or skepticism or disdain for religion because our interests and way of thinking seem to coincide. That's it. I rarely if ever speak up on any of your arguments with him on whose physique is better or whatever. You seem to imply that the moment Bouncer speaks out, he has a cheering squad that comes out of the woodwork and supports him. I can't speak for others but as far as I am concerned, nothing could be farther than the truth.

Anyway, this is too much drama for me. As usual, I regret getting involved in the first place. Sorry for screwing up your thread.

And I get stuff wrong bro, I'm quite balance driven. If I see something one sided it's my instinct to even it up.

But he has been hypercritical (I know you understand that ) of others over the ten years I've been on here damaging people's confidence. And I will use the word bully.

He can be very cool and helpful also. It just stood out when you wrote as if ..well...you know there's no need for me to repeat

For my part, I never measured my height much, probably got measured 5'11" ir something at high school and thar was that. If anyone asked me I said 5'11 or whatever it was. Then in my late 20s I think it was I had occasion to get properly measured and they said 6 ft in bare feet. If ever I've been docs or hospital they say bang on 6 ft

Let me be absolutely clear

I have no need to bullshit. If a tape measure said 5'10" I would be happy. Fact is when I have been in to hospital (and a police station) they have proper measuring equipment for height and it happened to say 6 ft.

That's all there is to say it's no more complicated than that.

I don't know exactly what you mean but no doubt I have looked fat or not great or whatever before yes. I tend to be more periodic in what I prioritise in life and frankly set goals, achieve them then relax somewhat so for example keeping a low body fat year round is not that important to me.

I don't believe you went through life being off by 2 inches about your height. 2 inches is a big difference and I find it hard to believe that a man that cares any about his looks and stats would be so clueless.
