I don't normally get into personal shit on here but figured what the hell. I finally filed for Divorce yesterday. I wanted to leave many years ago, but couldn't bring myself to, as I came from a split home and swore I would never do that to my kids. Right wrong or indifferent that was the choice I made. They are good kids never been in trouble and are stable. So I feel I did what any father should have done. I put them first. Well the kids are grown and its time for me to move on in life. Nothing like starting over at 52.:laugh: Maybe Ill get it right this time :thumb:

Funny after being out of the Army for 11 years now..I'm once again loading up my rucksack and moving on to another mission..like we always said Lead follow or get the fuck outa my way...

Kids are good actually, Ive been discussing this with them for a couple years now. They have known this has been comming. The finality of it is still a period all must go thru, but its not as a shock or hit in the face if you will as if never knowing.
