Why do mongolian and say peruvian or inca or indigenous American Indians look so similar when Mongolia is so far away

Same kind of thing for cold and hot climates.
for example. Canadian Indians have a very similar look to south American peoples.
same goes for Siberian peoples. similar look to Indian tribes of north America.
different climate, different culture, different diet, yet similar look.

All the native populations if the Americas - the Inuit and the Indians of North, Central and South America are descended from early people who crossed over a land bridge from Eastern Siberia across what is now the Bering Sea into Alaska during the last ice age when sea levels were much lower. This happened at least 30,000 years ago if I remember right, based on artifacts that have been found, but newer discoveries may push that date even further. It is therefore not very surprising that the native peoples of the Americas look like the Mongol people, or the native tribes of Eastern Siberia - the Yakut, the Chukchi, etc.
