Strawberries

Took the kids to a local farm to pick some fresh strawberries. They had a blast. Our 2 year old just ran around picking them and shoving them in her face. She looked like a vampire when we were done.

They were really big, sweet, and juicy. This is one her big sister picked. Most of them were this size.

The berries were extra sweet because a couple weeks ago we had some cold days that created a layer of frost. This makes the strawberries produce more sugar. If you're not used to sugary foods you actually get a little sugar rush from eating them.

GMO strawberries? Don't seem organic lol.

They claim they are organic. They're a local family run farm that's been around for about 50 years. I honestly don't know but they taste good regardless. Makes no difference to me.

We did that every summer as kids. I would eat as many as I would pick. Good times! :)
