Switching cellular service to Sprint

I average from 5mbps to 25mbps on ATT in Chicago so not much difference really. I'd always welcome more speed but 5-6mbps gets the job done on mobile.

Yea ATT has always been fine for me. Just trying to save money as best I can and sprint offers unlimited everything at a cheaper price for me. I don't ever plan on living out in the country so it will probably work fine for me.

The thing I noticed when comparing plans is how they advertise talk vs data. When putting together a full plan and then reviewing what the final cost is after taxes and fees, there were barely any savings anywhere. AT&T has a 6% higher work discount than Verizon. But AT&T applies the discount within the voice plan where Verizon applied it to the overall account, so that 6% savings really came out to like 1%.

I'm surprised by those numbers. ATT and VZ usually pretty close on speeds in most major markets.

I average 25-40 at home but as I get closer to town and around my work area it's around 45-69.

yea i had insane speed in Manhattan. nothing less than 75mbps.

Switched yesterday. Coverage is good. Average LTE test out at 25mbps.

$40 for unlimited everything.

Popped the sprint chip into unlocked nexus 5 and worked like a charm.

I don't know that Sprint is the greatest around here. It could be better these days, but it sure used to have a terrible reputation. And my bill is more than twice $40, lol

No it hasn't had a great reputation for a long time but everything I read in my research says they have spent tons of money in the last few years buying up different bands and coverage areas expanding etc..

Check that site I posted and look at your area. That will tell you which companies have best coverage.

Didn't realize how good of a deal I got actually. Was just looking at the different rates. For the package that I have Sprint charges $60 a month for unlimited everything.

I was lucky enough to have a friend who knew someone at Sprint that was able to put me in the Wireless Advantage Program. I knew it was a discount but I figured it was just a few bucks off per month or something. Didn't realize it was $20 dollars off per month! That's badass! And because I already had my nexus that works on any of the providers I didn't even have to pay the $36 activation fee.
