I am. I didn't read it. I skimmed it and assumed it was some dumb cunt who gave away her dog cause it was bothering her.

We picked up a cat the same way. Craigslist ad with claim of moving. They also had a potbellied pig they had to get rid of but I wasn't about to adopt bacon in my house. Seemed like a genuine clean cut family though. Kids were sad and they were moving to a condo that didn't accept pets due to a job relocation. The cat was only a year old and the pig was pretty small too. The cat is great so I don't think it was a problem causer at all. Never had any trouble with her.

Trouble is if people are made to feel ashamed to advertise lime this. They will simply say nothing and have the animal put down. That's why I say at least props for honesty

Yeah. I honestly couldn't think of a better way. Some people aren't equipped to handle pets. Better to offer the pet for sale or adoption than continue a bad relationship that leads to neglect and abuse.
