Are those natural colors or something done to the photo?

Probably like an HDR setting on the camera. Beast or scrum probably knows.

I don't think any of them are HDR. The first shot may possibly be multiple shots blended together, but I am not too sure. The last shot is just a long exposure. Not sure if the trees have street lights or something behind them and illuminating them, or the photographer light painted them. LIght painting is where if you have the camera shutter open for say 30 seconds (obviously you need to be on a tripod for this), then you take a flashlight and selectively illuminate things you want to stand out.

Nah, never mind about the light painting. The trees have lights illuminating them, pointing upwards from the grass. I guess I am blind! :retard:

You sure that 3rd desert one isn't HDR?

I don't think so. It's just gorgeous lighting. Early in the day, just after sunrise or just before sunset, the so called "golden hour." If it is HDR, it is done masterfully because most HDR shots look spectacular but just unreal. Clearly very skilled landscape photography though. These guys do a ton of research on times, angles, locations, etc. and sometimes camp out for a day or two just to get that perfect shot.

And I stand corrected on the HDR part. For some reason, the first shot of Arches National Park was not showing up on my phone. That one for sure is HDR. I was referring to the second shot of Mt. Rainier as not HDR, and I am pretty sure it is not HDR.

One thing for everyone who is not into photography to realize is that there is a shitload of post processing that is done on these kinds of photos. Lots of photographers take multiple shots that they blend together. Sometimes they may take the foreground during one time and the background or sky during another time and then blend together. Even if it is a single shot, there is considerable time spent on Photoshop or Lightroom, tweaking everything. The post processing is as much an art and skill as the shot itself.

And that's the least favorite part for me. Hate sitting in front of the computer and editing shit for hours and hours.
