Something is weird there... why is the bus not by the curb? And why did the bus driver open the doors for the kids to board if he is not by the curb? Is he expecting the kids to cross a lane on foot to board the bus? Not excusing the SUV driver, but the bus driver isn't exactly being smart either.

EDIT: Never mind, I read in the last paragraph that the driver passed on the shoulder or whatever. Guy should be going to jail for something like that.

I might have bitched when I was 15, but I seriously think that the driving age needs to be raised. The driving test should also be more difficult to pass, along with a graduated license system. I commute daily and I am amazed at the dumb shit that I see.
