China doesn't give a fuck lol. They got 2 billion people to feed. I read recently that since 1950 China has built over 22,000 dams or a THIRD of the worlds total. They are currently constructing the worlds largest dam, or it may be done by now, not sure.
You couple that with the 21 nuclear reactors they have, and the 28 they are currently building--most of which use the ocean for cooling and are near major cities, and you can clearly see that China could give a rats ass about the environment. Although new nuclear technology is a far cry better and safer than coal power generation in terms of pollution.Comment
