He was living a mile from Lake Michigan, which is so big, it might as well be the sea. Now, he is a hundred miles from the ocean. No relief from sea breezes in Sac town for sure.

I started feeling the "never ending" mid way through Utah around the salt flats area when you can see a mountain range in the distance and your literally driving towards it for 2 hours and after 2 hours its still 2 hours away!!!! Lololol

Never ending feeling is one I can understand. It is an understatement... when I was in Kuwait for the first time during Desert storm the march into Iraq....days and days of nothing but sand...not even a road..or a telephone pole crossing the desert..nothing....Never ending.....

Out west is vast and a great experiance I love seeing how the terrain changes from east coast to middle then the west coast..one hell of a transformation..its amazing really..
