  • DID question

So the garden shed needs renovation and today I replaced the roof felt

    Tomorrow I'm looking to paint.

I have some left over external wood paint in the colour I like.

Do I need to undercoat first given that it's been coloured long ago previously or should I go straight to the top coat colours I have?

Those spots of bare wood will suck that shit up. For the most even look and least paint used an undercoat would be best but I wouldn't say it is necessary of you don't want to.

Sand it first. Otherwise paint won't stick on to the previously varnished surface. If it does it's going to look like crap.

Bouncer that's the dog house that wife puts him in when she gets mad at him.

                Thanks chuck

The weather is hot and breezy so hopefully I can colour paint in three hours or so

Bottom panel is a bit shot so will probably replace later on.

Also got new perspex glazing to go on in days to come

                            Thanks

The colour doesn't really show in the picture but it's really impressive first hand.

Now just need a beach hut sign
