Moto x supposed to be great phone

No doubt it is a great phone. The customer service is on a whole different level of fuck up. It has been a complete mess. I would love to get the new Moto x pure edition, but the customer service has been the problem.

I have been happy with mine except anything moto related. All the Android features are functionally consistent. All the moto features are frustratingly inconsistent. Drives me fkn mad!

I agree that they are overpriced, but build cost is really only one factor in the entire process.

A phone with 16gb of storage and a 720o screen beginning at $649 is absolutely a rip off.

Yeah research and development costs, tooling costs, employee costs. I would bet net profit is more around 15% per phone.

Upgraded......haven't upgraded in years. Just wanted to get a fresh one out of the box and I wanted a 14 day trial.

I like gadgets too but I'm always able to look at different products and pick which makes the most sense for me. If I were to ask your wife if you're a procrastinator what would she say? :D

Stand by battery is ridiculous. It sat in my car on Thanksgiving for 3 hours and didn't loss one single percent of battery. Unreal.

Glad you're enjoying it. I love my ipads but the phone just isn't for me. Too many things I take for granted with Android that I couldn't do with the iPhone. Using the phone as my portable hard drive, as a TV remote with IR, apps that I have on Android I can't get on ios, etc.

My iPads are my tablet of choice though vs my andoid ones.
