He played it his way and I said days ago he would do this. He firstly ensured he was re elected. Got his ducks in a row then resigned under his own accord, ostensibly for the greater good

Interesting that now it's being discussed that Russia and Qatar could lose the world cup if evidence shows votes were bought.

You think the US doing this now was part of the plan to cause more financial hardship in Russia to go with the sanctions? I imagine with the time it takes to get ready for an event like that a lot of money has already been spent and would essentially be wasted.
