Henderson has never held a UFC title, however he held two in Pride in two separate weight classes. It's close-but I would agree with you..he's still fighting and winning..props to him especially how the sport has evolved.. can't deny that.

It was a night of idiocy though...I think Boetsch actually thought he could trade with him, stood right there, didn't take a single angle, and got blasted. Henderson doesn't need much room lol.

And Mitrone??? WTF?? Has to be the absolute worst mistake I have seen this year. Made Rothwell look much better than he is.

Accurate statement. Two veteran fighters that made rookie mistakes. Charging in on Hendo when it's no secret he has absolute knock out power. And Mitrione, lol; total momentary lapse of judgment. Rothwell is deceivingly good but not near as good as he looked due to Mitriones foolishness.

Bah...I am skeptical of who is on what-officially no..allegedly or otherwise-more than likely. The rubber is going to hit the road here in July when Olympic caliber testing is implemented year round by a neutral organization.

The testing now is a joke. Just look at Raphael Dos Anjos...before and after, when he demolished Anthony Pettis with a torn MCL. I am very very skeptical that guy is clean. And it's simply not hard to beat the testing process. I think the new UFC policy is the right way, hands off, independent body that does Olympic athletes, and do it randomly throughout the year with no warning.

Ya never know...I've seen a lot of fights with no names or past primes be pretty entertaining..personally, I think Shamrock is going to take him down and submit him relatively quickly--but hey props to him at 51 for taking a shot at it.

I just keep seeing these guys bigger stronger and faster after supposedly passing an athletic commission drug test...it's almost comical.

I'd never ask bro, quite frankly I think it should be allowed. Rather have em do it with some oversight and bloodwork then have to be all covert about it and fuck themselves up.

WADA already has GH testing, and all the labs they certify currently do that test using the Isoforms testing that originated in 08-09 timeframe.

When WADA kicks in, if your boys are doing anything they simply have to stop or risk their careers. Unless someone comes up with the magic potion a la "Balco-the Clear" back in the day, you are gonna get caught. And with the Ban hammer the Athletic commissions are throwing out, and the narrow window for MMA success, it can literally cost you a career now.

As for Shamrock, I simply can't see him trying to bang with Slice. He's a shoot fighter from way back, and has some significant ground skills...although people are paying to see these guys stand, so taking him down and choking him out in 2 minutes might not play very well. It will be interesting if he uses strategy or just throws leather and sees what happens. Either way, we are talking about it so they have done their job :)
