We went to the beach at st Simons sunday...his first time seeing the ocean..couldnt keep his ass out of the water.. He was worn out by end of the day. Taught Sheri how to hunt for sand dollars..we gathered a few to make into decorations for the house..Bleaching them now.:thumb:

Low tide is best...go out into the water and find a spot where the sand feels a bit more "grainy" if you will...normally knee deep or so. then you move your feet back and forth sideways as to dance like James brown...:thumb: as your feet start to 'dig in" and sand starts comming up to top of your foot you will feel a flat surface under your foot when Your on top of one. Then you keep foot on it..squat down and grab it from under your foot. you literally go inch by inch moving along. Normally when you find one..there will be a cluster of them in same general area. They are normally an inch or so under the sand.
