Just so you guys know, the HD stream of NFL redzone is an exclusive to DirecTV feed that shows live highlights of all the different games. It's cool because you get constant commercial free action. It's all the plus sides of NFL games without the drawbacks. The HD feed is flawless. Check it out if you've never seen red zone before, You might not be able to watch football any other way.

Called up Comcast to complain about their cost and they gave me a promotional rate for the next year - $69 for internet and TV. Not bad, even though I don't need the TV, but that's the only way I could get the promotional rate.

My brother was telling me when he was in Korea it's common to pay $50 a month for 100mb/s bandwidth. And that was 5 years ago so I bet it's faster now.

Not sure about the speeds and/or prices but it's no secret that the US ranks low compared to other parts of the world in terms of high speed data distribution.

South Korea is off the charts in terms of connectivity, I think. Not sure about Europe but given our preeminence in computing, we are not where we need to be, at the top of the heap.

I like to complain about Comcast, but ive gotta say, they have taken the threat of Google fiber seriously.

This is my phone connecting to my router on the 5GHz band. Pretty decent IMO. The old ethernet cable wires through the wall in my apt doesn't do as well. I'm thinking of just getting some USB wifi dongles for my desktop PCs and running wireless for all devices.

I'm about to get a jail broken Amazon firestick with the Kodi app and apparently u can get any movie, PPV, tv show etc.
