You have to download program (as I posted) to make your PC emulate android and run the app.

First you need a "torrent client" its just a program that you use to download torrents. I use Vuze. Vuze Bittorrent Client - The Most Powerful Bittorrent Software on Earth

Second you need a site where you can search and find the torrents. I use strike. https://getstrike.net/torrents/

^ On that site you search for what you want and then you click the little torrent icon. Make sure you have the vuze program open when you click the torrent download option on the strike site. It will ask in vuze if you want to download it.

Once the file is downloaded you need a player that can play all types of file. VLC is by far the best. VideoLAN - Download official VLC media player for Windows

yea they turned the download option for windows insider program off for new users. Iv'e been using it for awhile. It's flawless at this point. Works on my main core i5 laptop that i have connected to my tv and it works on my tiny little atom processor netbook that i got for $100 on black friday like 5 years ago. windows 10 is faster and more responsive on the netbook then windows 7 was. windows 10 is a very good OS IMO. it does what you want and gets out of the way. the fact that it is free shows that microsoft is finally starting to pull itself out of the 90's. they seem to get it now.

i'm actually going to keep both my computers on developer mode rather then upgrade to the regular user version when it comes out. i like getting the new features first. same sort of thing as nexus with android.

I have a pretty bad ass i7 PC that I'm looking forward to upgrading to 10. I finally ran a direct HDMI from the video card to my main TV. Wireless streaming is convenient but hard wired is always best.

Yea I always had little skips or glitches with wireless on 1080p content. Did 720 fine though.

I would never buy a laptop without HDMI port.

Some good info on basically free tv and shows. Something about having my HD channels and live news, well I like that very much and not sure I'll be ready to leave regular tv for recorded stuff. $100 a month isn't much at all for what I get nor does that amount going to break my bank account.

Found a great option for live sports on pay cable networks..

If sports are live on the regular networks like nbc, abs, cbs, or fox I can pick them up with the antenna but for sports that are only aired on the pay networks like NBC Sports network, or espn, fox sports etc.. the antenna wont work for those.

                      the solution: http://livetv.sx/en/

just search for whatever sporting event your looking for and click play.

most importantly, make sure you have adblock installed on your browser. without add block the ads just sit right on the video stream and block what your watching. with adblock the stream is flawless. iv'e been watching the tour de france live for the last 30 minutes perfectly.

Free live stream of channels like HBO, Food Network, Discovery, NBC Sports, ESPN, History, NFL network etc..

                        http://sourcetv.info/united-states-channels/

Just click the channel name and it will play in your browser.

Again, make sure you have pop up blocker installed on your browser and it will work perfectly.

So, do you just use the HDMI output from your laptop to connect to your TV to watch, or do you just watch them on our computer?

I have it permanently connected via HDMI. I use the USB dongle to control everything. My little netbook I use for computer work etc..
