I'm finding the opposite to be true when it comes to food though. I buy the same things at costco that I did in chicago and jersey. Chicken, fruit, and veggies is far cheaper here then it was in the other 2 states. Guess it has something to do with the farms being closer.

Thats about the only good thing going for the shit state i live in...ohio...low cost of living. Everything else about it blows.
