That's the one. 38 bucks at Amazon. Look for Lightroom 6 to come on sale. Also readily found on the usual torrent sites if your conscience permits. :)

Keep in mind the amazon sale on the 15th. Might be able to get some stuff for the camera for cheap.

I looked on amazon and there are a bunch of titles called understanding exposure. Does it matter which one?

And I now realized that Lightroom is software so I assume the book I posted a picture of is one that tells you how to use the software?

Understanding Exposure 3rd edition by Bryan Peterson. About 17 bucks.

And yes, LR is software. It is a simpler and less intimidating version of Photoshop but it is very powerful. I have both LR and PS and I use LR 99.9% of the time.

Scott Kelby's book will teach your wife how to use LR step by step. It is an excellent book.

When she shots in RAW and learns how to use the histogram function on her camera to "expose to the right," she will discover that she can use LR to minimize noise, dial in the colors and brightness, and really make her photos pop.

            Yup!
Here is an example what Lightroom can do to your photos.
These were shot raw and tweaked in Lightroom.
