    We spent the first 5 days at El Remanso Resort on the Osa Peninsula. It is an eco lodge in primary tropical forest. Our casita was on stilts in the middle of the forest. Monkeys would wake us up every morning as they foraged through the trees right outside our window.

    We went dolphin watching on the Golfo Dulce, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean.. water was like a bathtub as we snorkeled:

      We then moved to Nayara Resort in the Arenal Volcano area in the north of the country. This was an upscale all-inclusive resort. Stupendously beautiful - this is rated as the number 4 resort in the world I can believe it:

          Looks awesome Scrum..Always wanted to go there..did you get offshore for any fishing? WORLD CLASS fishing off costa rica bro...some of the best anywhere..

                Lip, I was talking to the boat captain who took us out dolphin watching and he said that he takes people out marlin fishing every week. Like you said, sport fishing is pretty big there.

                      Nice pics man. Yea I definitely like the outside shower. I would have gotten myself a bottle of wine and hit the hammock :)
