5 Failed login attempts email.

I got an email this morning that someone tried to access my account and failed 5 times. IP 89.234.157.254. Anyone else get this?

Very common all over the Internet not just here. In this case probably a spam bot programmed to take over an account and use it to spam the board with links.

This is why it's very important to have a strong password and not use the same one on every site you belong to.

Be glad that this site actually gave you a warning. Make sure your password is a complicated one.

Yeah I got the same thing a month or so ago. IP address was from Germany. Then a couple weeks later I got failed login attempts email from my mortgage company. That scared me a bit but they locked the whole account. Fuckin hackers man.
