Started out the day on the duck boat with Sheri going on a drift wood hunt. We have been looking for a cool piece to place in front of the fire place in the living room. Gotta love being 2 miles from the boat ramp.out the house and on the water in under 15 min :thumb: We found this drft wood on an oysterbar. pretty cool piece..this picture dont do it justice..
Its got a lot of character with hundereds of (worm holes) throughout the wood. Gonna clean it up and it should be great. Its about 4 ft long and 20 inches high or so.
Also found this.. Im thinking some sort of sea mammal. Its very old bone.. almost like its fosselized (sp) pretty cool find. Any Ideas? I was thinking maybe something from a dolphin or a whale maybe? Of couse..it could be a new dinosaur Ive discovered..:rofl:
Got back to the house, cleaned up and headed to river street in Downtown Savannah for the afternoon.. Great day to be out mid 80's nice breeze , just hung out listening to a live band on river street. munched on some burgers and enjoyed the view from the upper deck at Tubbys steak/ seafood on the river.. great day..:thumb:
